Notes for Nova Fischler Students

If you are a Nova Fischler student, you have a unique hurdle. The ARC's final format review is rigorous; your document must have practically perfect formatting and APA style. If you've gone through three editors and still had your paper rejected, do not worry. I guarantee I can get your document approved, usually on the first pass.

First, I'm sure you read the Fischler Applied Dissertation Manual cover to cover when you started on your dissertation. (Ahem! If not, read it now.) The guide spells out the structure of your dissertation for you. The ARC website has the links for the AD Procedures Manual, Dissertation Template, and other resources.

Otherwise you will miss important information; for instance, your keywords must be listed in the ERIC Thesaurus. Your Chapter 2 now must be 30 pages and include 30 peer-reviewed journal articles.

Do not use an editor who has no experience with Fischler. You may be in a hurry, but if you choose wrong, you will end up having to pay for another editor and an extra semester in the end.

So be prepared. Just take a deep breath, go to your mental happy place, and know that you will get through.
